There seems to be a lot going on in this turtle’s world right now. There is the deepening sense of freedom and vitality that is growing out of the battle for purity. There is also a sense of isolation and loss as I realize how much time I spend alone (and the remorse that come from realizing how much of this time I used to fill up with pornography). There is the sadness today of losing a hero from my past. And there is also a growing sense of connectedness in me that includes both God and family.
In the end, I am a turtle. I change slowly. It has taken all my life to get hear. And I am grateful to be where I am.
And now for my check-in.
FEELINGS
Today I am feeling sad, grateful, hopeful, anxious.
ISSUES
Trying to remain on-task and stay focused at work.
NEEDS
I need to continue to surrender my body to Christ every day.
SOBRIETY
I have been sober from pornography and masturbation for 55 days!!
