As has been mentioned before in these notes, we each have a yearning in our hearts – a hole that aches to be filled. We try to fill it with many things: money, success, women, or sex. But none of these things can fill the hole because it is a God-shaped hole.

So how do we fill the hole?

Obedience.

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
